What do fully autonomous and semi-autonomous mean?
Your department runs one of two ways, set once in Settings. Semi-autonomous: every finished piece waits for your yes before it goes out, and you can ask for changes first. Fully autonomous: finished posts and articles go out at their planned time on every connected channel, small fixes to your website go live and are checked on your site, and you can still ask for changes until a piece goes out. Emails, ads, new pages and rewrites of your website always wait for you. You can switch at any time.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. Open the piece and say what to change in your own words, or use the message box at the bottom of any page. Your department makes the change and shows you the new version. A piece you send back does not go out until you are happy with it.
Can it publish without me?
Only when your department is fully autonomous: finished posts and articles at their planned time, and small fixes to your website such as a page's title or description. Semi-autonomous, every piece waits for your yes. Nothing goes out on a channel that is not connected. Emails, ads, new pages and rewrites of your website always wait for you.
Can I stop it?
Yes. Switch your department to semi-autonomous in Settings and nothing new goes out without your yes from that moment. A post already on a channel stays there until you remove it on the channel.
Can it make mistakes?
Yes. It can misread a detail or a result, and a channel can fail or change its rules. That is why every piece is shown to you as it will look, and why Activity keeps a plain record of what went out and what did not.
How do I see what went out?
Activity lists what your department did, newest first, one line each. Analytics shows how the pieces are doing once the channels report back.
